Pricing
Sandboxes
A sandbox is billed for the seconds it runs, at the rate of the machine you choose, out of your monthly allowance.
Machine rates
The machine you choose determines CPU, memory, disk and the rate charged against your allowance. Active compute is billed by the second from startup. The hourly rate is divided by 3,600 to calculate the per-second rate. Pause stops compute billing; resume starts it again. The $10 starting price is a monthly subscription, not the price of an individual sandbox.

Paused sandbox storage
Pausing releases compute while retaining files. Storage is free for 3 days, then costs $0.05 per GB per month. Delete a sandbox when you no longer need its files.
Which sizes you can use
Free accounts get $1 of trial usage and one Small sandbox at a time. An active monthly subscription unlocks Medium and Large. See Usage and limits.
